This particular poem was inspired by reading J.Krishnamurti-an Indian philosopher on AWARENESS & by reading one poarticular couplet in THIRUKKURAL the moral/ethical/political&love bible of the ANCIENT TAMILS!With respectful regards.Krishnan. september 08 2008 | 2 comments

Maduraiveeran said Hannah Arendt, thegreatest modern woman-philosopher of our times wrote her book:THE LIFE OF THE MIND, which I read& found the following conclusions(derived by me):THINKING-1.does not lead to knowledge as in the Sciences- 2-does not solve the mysteries of the world.3-brings forth no wisdom for the life.4-does not give power to act. september 08 2008 | Comment

Maduraiveeran said Words...they have so much power!Yet they can be so simple at the sametime. The funny thing about them is.. they are powerless by themselves...Until we put power behind themBy INTENTION.We can use them to heal or hurt,to hinder or to catalyze. Many people put truth behind their words others put liesBe careful of the powerb You put behindYour wordsbecause in this world,INTENTION is EVERYTHING! september 08 2008 | 2 comments

Maduraiveeran said Just finished reading"something to tell you" by Haneef Kureshi- a vivid novel set in London among immigrant Pakisthani,Indian,English communities-not bad at all.. Mr kureshi digs deep into the workings of the immigrant mindsets,psycho-analyzes,& he is a part of the fragments that constitute the multicultural environ.Very good reading, mostly conversational style but makes in-depth analysis of politics, persons&psyche&sexual taboos &terrorism too.He is a clever writer. juni 28 2008 | Comment
